Small hanami picnic

No idea why they chose to sit there on the floor rather than somewhere on the grass! Probably to use the bank as a table.
Very important at picnics: The shoes have to be taken off, even for sitting on a plastic mat.

A beautiful spot to take a break. It looks very nice to me. I was in Sapporo in 1953 and Hokadata then too.

@mountaincat: No, they didn't. During hanami, everybody is taking so many pictures that nobody notices and nobody cares. People shoot hundreds, thousands of pics - and so did I, more to come!
